I just found RSS Lounge yesterday for the first time after seeing that Google Reader is closing... it's sad to see RSS Lounge is already not supported. I do not have the skills to work on it myself. With just a bit of work it could rival Google Reader in my opinion, thanks for creating it... it's a great web app but unsupported it will die an untimely death unless someone takes it over.

I'm not a developer of rssLounge, but I use it on my server and I wanted to use it on my android device.

I've used the rssLounge for AndroidrssLounge for Android client and I wanted to improve it. But, as I wanted to do too many changes, I've decided to code it again from zero.

And so, the loungeDroid project is born. I've just released it this week, but I didn't have time to test it with all possible rssLounge configurations. So, please consider this release as an alpha version and please take time to do bug reports

Great work on v1.7 by the way - it's way faster on my relatively slow web server machine.

I was playing with the network inspector included in Epiphany and I've seen that when I log in my rssLounge instance, the HTTP Post message contains my password in clear text. I hope, that's I haven't read correctly my network activity, but if not shouldn't you "encrypt" password with MD5SUM or SHA1 before sending it to the server ?

That's not an issue for me, because I use https, but it should be a security fail for the one who use http.

I love RSS Lounge and was about to use it on my live site after some testing.
Yesterday I noticed I cannot open items or categories in IE9.
Does anybody has that issue too ?

i'm trying install rss lounge on squeeze debian but ... module Apache mod_rewrite but reported disabled by the installation page ... but when i tried .htaccess with a simple rule it works and apache say "already enabled"

I inserted in the .htaccess file the base URL : (RewriteEngine on RewriteBase /)

But nothing ....
